I’ve invited the brilliant, talented, and super fun Lacy Alana, LCSW, RSW to share how she has been offering (for years!) interactive, engaging, and therapeutically relevant tele-health sessions, integrating everything she knows about applied improv and relational neurobiology!
Join us for this live (and available by recording!!) 90-minute virtual training!
Are you looking for new engaging tools, games, and activities that facilitate the relationship and prompt integration in the brain (path to mental health!!) to bring into your tele-play therapy practice?
Are you struggling to create the same connection or sense of felt safety online with your play therapy clients (and their families) that you previously felt in your office?
Are some of your “go-tos” for a relationship, rapport, and connection building from your office not translating to virtual sessions as well as you’d like?
Are you interested in capitalizing on the strengths that virtual platforms can offer you and your clients during this time?
If any of those things are true – this webinar is for you!
Guided by a unique pedagogy blended from applied improvisation and interpersonal neurobiology, this 90-minute webinar teaches unique interactive rapport and connection building activities and best practices that you can immediately put into place in your tele-play therapy sessions. AND these exercises and activities will EASILY transfer back into the playroom- especially with families and groups!
As a clinician and professional improviser, Lacy specializes in blending adapted improvisational theatre (not a typo- Lacy lives in Canada!) games with therapeutic frameworks to build connections, expand social-emotional learning, and support a sense of felt safety and connection while engaging in novel exploration.
Improvisational theatre in its unadapted form is an art form that emphasizes deep connection, spontaneity, flexibility, co-creation, and remaining highly present with your fellow actors. In therapeutic settings, these same strengths can be harnessed to support creative and engaged therapeutic growth with your play therapy clients and families.
