Parenting after Trauma: Brain-Body-Sensory Strategies that Really Work

Sponsoring Organization: Children’s Aid Society of Alabama

Date: November 17th, 2022

Time: 9am – 4:30pm central

Location: Montgomery, Alabama

Description: Parenting kids who have experienced trauma is overwhelming and confusing.  The baffling behaviors you are facing- lying, stealing, manipulation, being spaced-out and in la-la land, come from a vulnerable nervous system that needs support with co-regulation, connection, and felt-safety.  This conference will help you put on your ‘x-ray vision goggles’ to look past behavior and see what’s actually causing the behavior.  You’ll be able to stop playing behavior whack-a-mole and use parenting strategies that actually work.

Registration Information: This one day conference is open to the public! Anyone can register. To register for this in-person conference, click the button below. Not local? Register for the live virtual conference simulcast on November 17, 2022 by CLICKING HERE.
